The single use sterile postpartum balloon system includes two syringes, a bag spike with a check valve, and a dual-lumen catheter. Designed for the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage, the deflated balloon can be positioned within the uterine cavity either trans-vaginally or through a caesarean section incision. Once the correct position is established, the balloon can be quickly inflated with saline to apply the necessary pressure to the uterine wall. The dual lumen catheter allows for easy monitoring of the haemorrhage during the procedure until the bleed has stopped. Included: Dual lumen catheter, bag spike with check valve and x2 syringes
